Korean BBQ House at SS2

Restaurant Haeun Khon 海云轩 @ Amcorp Mall, PJ
12th August 2008...
There has been a long time since CH last took Korean food. Since CH is working in Amcorp Mall, and there's one famous Korean restaurant in Amcorp Mall, CH will go for lunch at this restaurant today.
Restaurant Haeun Khon - located at 3rd floor of Amcorp Mall, selling cheap but delicious Korean & Japanese food. They have another outlet at Jaya Mall previously, but currently Jaya Mall has been demolished. CH has no idea where are they moving to.
BBQ Chicken set @ RM 13.90. CH loves having set meal since the set meal comes with several side-dish which are fruits, kimchi(Pickled Korean Cabbage), deep-fried anchovy, clear soup and cold beancurd. And the BBQ plate was vegetable-ful, which provides you a fresh and healthy lunch. Yeah, the set meal comes with white rice as well. 80 pts.
BBQ Lamb set @ RM 14.90. One of the best selling set-meal in Haeun Khon. The lamb was nicely done, retaining the mutton's original flavour. 90 pts!
Restaurant Haeun Khon, a affordable and worth for money Korean Restaurant. No wonder their restaurant is always full with customer.

Korean BBQ Experience
15 Jan 2008...
Today CH and his friend went hunting for food that can surprise his taste bud for lunch again.
Daorae Garden - 3° 9'6.07"N 101°35'38.81"E
CH decided to stop by Sunway Damansara @ Kota Damansara after he settle some of his personal thing there. CH went to the Daorae Garden for Korean BBQ food. CH been to this Dorae Garden twice @ Sri Hartamas. CH found this Korean BBQ restaurant selling nice BBQ meat and dishes. Therefore, CH this time purposely go to this Dorae Garden and take some photo to share his BBQ experience with everybody. Thanks to his manager buying & introduing him lunch at Daorae Garden before this.
The vege, spicy sour BBQ sauce and garlic to be wrapped together with this BBQed meat. This way of eating is a must!
The eye-dazzling complimentary of side dishes. Can see the red hot char coal below the BBQ grille.
First to come: Marinated Pork, recommended by one of the korean manager of the restaurant
Second to come: Marinated Beef. CH and his friend found the meat attractive with it's heavy meaty taste. The meat with fat is perfect to bite!
Vege, BBQ sauce, Garlic wrapped with the meat become the perfect BBQ combination.
Not familiar with BBQing? Don't worry, all the BBQ will be done by the staff. The restaurantn also will give complimentary dessert and fruit. This time they served the nourishing red dare ginger tea and pear.
CH rated this is one of the best Korean Restaurant in Malaysia. The meat/dishes he tasted is very similar the one he tasted in Seoul when he went there at year 2004.
Other recommendation: Korean "Maggie-Mee" with Korean 年糕(new year cake - Sticky cake which made from rice and to be cooked in spicy soup), Korean Pancake, the Hot Soju. Best to take in a rainy/cold-weathered day. CH will upload more photo once he get it.
