Wedding @ KB - Talk about other thingy...

24th April 2009...

24th April 2009 was a special day. That day is the day Luna relatives came to Kay Bee, that day is the day before Chin Hong and Luna's wedding dinner in Kay Bee, and that day is... Chin Hong's 26th birthday!

After Luna's relatives reached KB, take Nasi Dagang as breakfast is a must.


After some rest in the apartment and lunch, they headed to Pantai Irama.


Tried the satar ikan. Erm... Taste like concentrated assam laksa without assam stock.


Strong wind at sea side is the best spot for "kite-flying".


After that they went to Pasar Malam next to the Pantai Irama. Lot of Kelantan delicacies there! Including Nasi Kerabu, Local Nasi Lauk, Nasi Dagang, Ayam percik, Pulut Lipa, Keropok, Keropok lekor, Coconut shake(with ice-cream), Murtabak (with red/purple sauce), air sirap selasih, and bla bla bla... All worth trying!


After that, they went to "Double-dragon temple". There's a "wishing tree". The wisher just need to pay RM5 for the "add-oil" money, and write their wishes on the paper band and then throw it on to the three. Once the wishing band sucessfully thrown onto the three, then the wishes will come true.


The standing buddha was erected there also.


After that, they headed to Pantai Kemasin in Tawang. This place is one of CH's favourite spot in Kelantan. He used to take his "teenage album" here.






They went to Malaysia-famous Thaifood restaurant in Kelantan - Chiang Mai. It is located in the small kampung in Wakaf Bharu.

CH personally feels that the best Tom Yam in Asia is here. Please try to believe.

The otak-otak. The mixed seafood cooked in the aluminium-wrap with egg, coconut milk and Thai spices.

One of everyone's favourite, the roast Pork Knuckle with spicy thick soy sauce. Ohhhh.... The skin of Pork Knucke is really really cripsy!

The deep-fried water spinach, to be dipped with sweet spicy sauce.
