Sure Pizza, Sure Go Again

今天是圣诞节的前三天,明天不得空,前夕又要塞车。

不然我们今晚就去庆祝圣诞节?

好啊...

前一晚吃了Sure Pizza的意大利餐,到了今天还念念不忘。想来想去都想不到有哪一件美味又正宗的意大利餐,到最后还是又回到了Mr.Paolo的Sure Pizza。

葡萄酒is a must for 西餐,especially Italian Food。今晚振鴻開的是Chile的Casillero del Diablo的Chardonnay。Chardonnay最適合用來配白肉,海鮮及蔬果。式喝了一口,味道夠重又高雅,酒的香氣在舌頭上演奏着优雅的preludio。

餐廳裏的一本介紹馬來西亞的意大利餐廳,全都是由意大利廚師營運的。冊子裏介紹那麽多的意大利餐館,難道Paolo不怕我們下次不光顧他嗎?有實力的餐館應該就不怕吧?其实有这么多优良的意大利餐馆也是好事,造成良性竞争,对我们爱食者好处多多。

前菜- 雞肝糕。香料及鸡肝的味道相辅相成。把厚厚的鸡肝酱搽在面包上再送入口里,要厚厚的那种。面包不够用,跟厨师要了多一些面包,全部扫光光,但还是觉得不够。

油油的Garlic Button Mushroom。吃完了要用面包把橄榄油及香料吸干了才甘愿。

蛤蜊香橄榄油意大利粉 - 上一级已近介绍过了,不哆嗦。就是那么的充满蛤蜊肉及蛤蜊的味道。喝了Chardonnay再吃蛤蜊,还是吃了蛤蜊再喝Chardonnay,都是最高的享受。

茄子千层面。茄子在千层面里焗得微妙,与千层面吃起来,一个香脆又新鲜,一个冲满弹性又软绵绵。相信面的茄汁也是Paolo自制的。新鲜非常,酸酸的,百分百的呈现了番茄的美味。

基本上老婆好过,我也才好过。

美好的晚餐always ended with 美好的意大利Dolce - 提拉米苏(附酒精)Tiramisu(with Alcohol)。
一层朱古力粉,一层奶油,一层蛋糕,一层奶油,再一层附酒精的蛋糕。一点花样也没有,但它就是那么实实在在的好吃。

干完整枝Chardonnay,带着飘飘然的感觉回家去。
有好吃的东西,友好喝的酒,有好佳节的气氛,有心爱的人倍,有一点飘飘然,这种感觉,振鸿喜欢!

Sure Pizza, Sure Go

Today received sms from ah Mei:"Today want to go to Sure Pizza or not? To celebrate our lovely and foodster housemate - Chee Hock?"

"Sure Pizza? Sure go!" I replied.

The ristorante owned by an Italian - Mr. Paolo.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio, simple yet tasty.

Spaghetti Vongole. Not like ordinary spaghettu Vongole, the spaghetti loaded with plenty of Vongole/Clam which makes the spaghetti taste clamfully.

Seafood Risotto. CH loves this.This stuff is quite similar with Spanish Paella, both of them are having not-done-rice.

Pizza is a must-try for this ristorante. Most of them taste great. CH believes that this is because the ristorante is using a high quality flour, which produce quality pizza crust. Yes, and don't forget to try the home-made tabasco, which is the main attraction for this ristorante.

6 to 10 Grill (again)

Please don't mind for posting "6 to 10 Grill" again, and again. Coz it's always been our favourite place to dine with group of friends. The food is cheap and delicous, and what we favour the most is the cheap corkage charge - RM 5 per bottle of wine.

And I've took this occassion to test out my new Tamron 17-50(no VC). The lens was sharp and fast, though abit noisy when auto-focusing. All pics' colour and sharpness are untouched. Most of the pics taken by Tamron 17-50, except some with strong "bokeh" was taken by ah Kit's 50mm 1.4D.

What we usually do is grab a bottle of wine from the neayby's Cold Storage(Jaya One).
Flinder's Choice, RM32.90, always been CH's favourite, it is cheap, but produce decent taste. It is Cold Storage's house brand, you can only find it at Cold Storage wine section. You may try Chardonnay from Flinder's Choice, It has been CH's favourite as well.

CH's order : Medium Rare Sirloin Steak - RM 19.90. The steak was a soft and juicy one. What more can we ask for at the price? What CH doesn't like is the fried egg.

Ah Kit's New Zealand's Lamb Chop with mint sauce. Believe me, they've done it better than most of the franchising steak house. Because of that, ah Kit still feeling hungry after finishing this "American" sized lamb chop.
