Lei Cha @ Kulai

12th April 2008...

Today, CH and Luna were at Luna's hometown - Kulai again. As previously introduced by CH, kulai full with delicious food, but most of them are meat.

But today, Luna and family brought CH to this Lei Cha restaurant to let CH knows delicous food in Kulai not only made of meat. Lei Cha is one of them.

Lei Cha is one of hakka traditional food. It is a mixture of dried rice with long bean, pickled cabbage, garlic, egg, onion leaf, beans & fried peanut and comes with a bowl of vegetable & herb soup which consist of basil leave as main ingredient.


The lei cha is kampung has a guarated originality. Not like Lei Cha in big city, always added some alternative like carrot and corn.
Notably to mention, the iced milk tea are quite nice to drink.


Some side dishes selling at the shop: Pork cake wrapped in beancurb. Nice!


After went back to Luna house, Luna's mother present this pickles conch in soysauce with chilli and garlic. It taste good? CH's answer :"he finish this bowl of conch within 5 minutes".
