Busy busy busy, although CH already got all his luggage to England ready, but CH still cannot really duduk diam(sit calmly). May be this is first time he travel so far. May be this time he going to be away from home, and Malaysia for so long. May be he is too excited that this trip might be one of the most unforgettable experience which happened only once in his lifetime.
It’s glad that CH’s little cute old fren, Dai Ko Loong(Bent) is with CH for this trip. CH and Bent(CHB) will be flying with Emirates Airline. The departure time is 2.00am morning. It’s kinda touching that their college fren did a farewell to CHB at KLIA.
The airplane departed 2.00am sharp. The departing trip always takes long time. CHB couldn’t have a good sleep.29th May – 1st June 2005….
The airplane reach Deira International Airport at 5.00am in Dubai. After grabbing a cab to hotel, CHB first thing to do is sleep… zzZZzz…
After woke up at 10am, here’s the CHB Dubai trip getting started! (Forced to start because already booked a city-tour)
The calm and out-spoken tour guide brought CHB to several stops:
Emirates Ancient Museum
Masjid
Burj Al-Arab(BAA), The most expensive and one of the two hotel having 7-star rating(another one in Brunei, Emperor Hotel). Tour guide said that the minimum rate of the BAA is 2000USD, and even the entrance to the hotel only BAA going to charge 100USD. May be it is ridiculous for CHB right now, but sure, someday, with someone, they sure going to stay in this hotel at least once. Bent, please keep your promise oh!
The Jumeirah Beach Hotel. Behind CH is 7 Arabians on camel made by 24k gold! Which represent 7 Emirates in UAE.

CHB end their trip at Deira Shopping Centre. CHB was told by the driver that their hotel just 10 minutes walking distance from this DSC. They end up with 45 minutes walks under hot hot sun with ambient temperature of 44 dec C. Due to budget, CHB bought some packed food and camel milk for their dinner. The camel has more intense smell than goat milk.The food variety in UAE is quite limited. They like to eat kebab, beef, lamb, pita bread, yogurt, and olive. The fish roe pate is quite famous there. CHB can easily found fish roe pate more than RM1000 per small packet.
Second day, CHB went to a trip to dessert safari. There're lot of obstruction on CHB trip to dessert safari. First, the driver couldn't get us. Second, tyre punctured when we on the way. Anyway, we still manage to get the Toyota Land Cruiser Ride on the hilly dessert. Ehmm.. CHB should say crazy and dangerous dessert ride. Go experience it yourself then you'll know what CHB talking.
After crazy ride, the driver bring CHB to a "basin" of the dessert and have dinner. Wow, the dinner is quite good. The on-the-spot made BBQ lamb and Beef, Arabian salad, Pita Bread and Rice with some dishes. After dinner CH manage to grab a Arabian and took a photo:
CHB also manage to get a clumsy camel ride:
After everybody settle down after dinner, there goes the world famous Belly Dancing!
The sexy Arabian ladies came out and start the belly dance, a dance which will make the audience pay most attention to belly. Hehe, CHB were invited to join them for belly dance also. Maybe CHB bellies really suitable to perform belly dancing.
Few issues to mention,
the weather in Dubai really hot. You will hardly find a cloud over there. Even when you taking a bath with so call "cold water", it is like heated hot water in malaysia.
The film in UAE not really censored as in Malaysia. CHB still can be some "pretty" scene in the Cinema of Dubai. CHB watched Unleashed - Danny the Dog, around RM30 per head for normal class cinema.
Anyway, Dubai is a great place for shopping. You can easily find a mall in Dubai. CHB been exploring the shopping mall in Dubai in the rest of the day in Dubai. Like one of the nice mall CHB been to - Mercato:

So, today CHB woke up at 4.30am morning to grab their flight to Manchester departing at 7.10am. Dubai is still hot even in early in the morning! CHB manage to grab a cab and reach airport at 5.30am, but wow! There's long queue at the lugguge scan. By the time CHB reach the boarding gate, everybody start to go into the plane, thank God! Here started the CHB's journey to Great Britain.....
28 Sept 2005....
CH & Bent meet up at Manchester airport after their trip at London. When checking in, the luggage weight 45kg! CH just couldn't believe he has been carrying this unwieldy from Tavistock Place to London Central, and from London Central to Machester by himself.
So after a 120 days in UK and Europe, it's time to say goodbye.. CHB rather feeling unwilling to leave this memorable place, of which CHB has been spending 3 month time with all his cute coursemate and travelmate.
The airplane depart at 2.00pm, and goodbye UK... CHB will revisit you again someday.
The picture CH took when he was on the way back to KL, any difference? CH feels there's big diffrence.
On airplane flying level, CH could really see the distinct line between day and night.
