There has been a long time since CH last took Korean food. Since CH is working in Amcorp Mall, and there's one famous Korean restaurant in Amcorp Mall, CH will go for lunch at this restaurant today.
Restaurant Haeun Khon - located at 3rd floor of Amcorp Mall, selling cheap but delicious Korean & Japanese food. They have another outlet at Jaya Mall previously, but currently Jaya Mall has been demolished. CH has no idea where are they moving to.
BBQ Chicken set @ RM 13.90. CH loves having set meal since the set meal comes with several side-dish which are fruits, kimchi(Pickled Korean Cabbage), deep-fried anchovy, clear soup and cold beancurd. And the BBQ plate was vegetable-ful, which provides you a fresh and healthy lunch. Yeah, the set meal comes with white rice as well. 80 pts.
BBQ Lamb set @ RM 14.90. One of the best selling set-meal in Haeun Khon. The lamb was nicely done, retaining the mutton's original flavour. 90 pts!
Restaurant Haeun Khon, a affordable and worth for money Korean Restaurant. No wonder their restaurant is always full with customer.

台湾夜市 @ SS15, Subang Jaya
11th August 2008...
今天振鸿在英国认识的Mr. Liew又来Subang找振鸿请振鸿吃饭。在不知要去哪吃的当儿,看见了这间在SS15 Public Bank隔壁的“台湾夜市”。过几个月就要去台湾了,先来尝一尝台湾的味道先!
振鸿点的卤肉饭。还蛮好吃的。肉卤得够香。把卤肉汁与饭捞在一块,来多几碗也吃得下。台湾人说的“非常下饭”因该就是这个意思吧。90分!
台湾夜市常见的炸鸡排。这家的外皮的滋味不错,但就是太厚了点。有很多部分都是过厚的面粉。80分。
台湾夜市常客之二-台湾香肠。看过蔡澜的书才得知台湾香肠要与蒜片一起吃菜好吃。多谢他。这家的滋味还不赖。90分!

Leo's Nightmare 李奥的噩梦
今天跟亲爱的看完电影,本打算来一个轻松愉快地午餐。
还没去过在SS2新开的LXX's Cafe,就去那吃吧。
吸引人的是,他们找来了大马美女模特儿谢小姐当代言人,振鸿看了也觉得他们的食物会好吃很多。
食物来了,还真的好吃!
扬州炒饭,好吃过白饭!
还蛮健康的,因为厨师完全没下盐,正符合振鸿的健康状况,谢谢他!
炒饭放在普通的碟子上就好了,不明白为什么他们要放在迷你锅叠在小篮上,吃的时候迷你锅跑来跑去。
要他的饭香一点,所以就在饭下面叠了香蕉叶。香蕉叶太小片,结果吃的时候饭都跑去香蕉叶下面。
有谁人要练功夫的话,点这里的扬州炒饭最适合不过。
泰式炒米粉,分量少过猫吃的。
要减肥的点这道准不会错。
甜点是烤面包上放雪糕。
面包放在外头太久了,吃起来粉粉。
好吃!跟面粉比的话。
还收五块八。不如到A&W吃Waffle Ice Cream更好。
奶茶及茉莉茶的味道都怪怪。
等等,
他的锅饭还蛮好吃。果然是典型只有一样东西好吃的餐厅。
那下次就只卖那样啊,uncle!别浪费我人生的100,000餐中的一餐!
人家再One-U的士林夜市卖的也只有几样,开了三年多,生意还是源源不绝。
找他的待者来讲话,还真他妈的来一场鸡同鸭讲!
可以看得出店主根本不重视他的生意。是不是用来洗黑钱的呢?
那就请你至少也不要用谢小姐来代言!根本就是侮辱她的美丽!好歹人家振鸿也很欣赏她一下的!

品珍鸭腿面@美罗 Pun Chun @ Bidor
2th August 2008...
每每从太平或槟城回吉隆坡,大多都会进去美罗(Bidor),原因一来是受不住品珍鸭腿面的诱惑,二是品珍离大道出口非常的近。
品珍餐室内也是古色古香的。振鸿好喜欢这感觉。
鸭腿面登场!鸭腿汤用鸭腿及各种药材熬煮了很久,汤头充满了浓浓的鸭肉及药材味。95分!
大家可以选汤面或者干捞面。振鸿喜欢干捞的,因为这样才可以尝到鸭腿汤以及面条的原汁原味。大家都觉得他的面条有点硬,但振鸿觉得这样才好吃。吃得越多就越觉得好吃。面的淋汁液不错。95分!
阿梅点了干捞云吞面。面如刚才说过一样好吃咯。值得一提的是他的叉烧及云吞。叉烧烧到刚刚好,肉非常的嫩又香。餐馆弄云吞是一点也不吝啬用料,把云吞弄得又Q又香甜。90分!
不吝啬用料的当儿,价钱当然也不会便宜咯。

Ozeki @ Jalan P.Ramlee
18th August 2008...
Today is dear Luna's birthday, for sure CH and Luna will go to "high-class" Japanese restaurant to celebrate Luna's birthday. CH and Luna unanimously selected Ozeki at the end(or beginning) of Jalan P. Ramlee. It is located just a 5-minute walk from Luna's office. CH dined at Ozeki before. They offers variety of fine Japanese cuisine, authentic dining environment, and most importantly, the price is reasonable. Thanks to KC for treating CH the raw horse meat last time.
Ozeki was magnificently decorated with plenty of magnum Sake bottles.
The menu was attractive as it's complete with nice photo and Japanese wordings.
The caring restaurant served the snack appetizer FOC as CH and Luna were browsing through the menu.
Luna's eyes can't get off from the menu. Ozeki really offers plenty of choices.
Onsen Tamago Salad @ RM 18 - Salad with soft boiled egg with KIMIJIMA dressing. Forget about where/what is KIMIKIMA, the dressing was so delicious! After it mixed with the half boiled egg, it makes the perfect salad dressing. CH & Luna felt like be in Onsen as they enjoying the salad. Notably to mentioned that the noodle at the bottom of the salad makes the best combination to the salad. 100 pts! *The best salad CH ever had.
Gyokai To Mango No Tarutaru @ RM 32- Mixed of fresh raw seafood, mango and salted kelp with sea urchin flavour. The mixed raw seafoods are really fresh. The freshness of the seafood makes a the seafood super flavourful, soft and fine. 95pts!
Spicy Fire Tuna Maki @ RM 28- Spicy Tuna Roll - Chopped tuna and Korean spicy pickles roll with very spicy fresh chillies. This one mama, and not spicy at all(For Malaysian). CH not going to talk much about this. 70 pts.
Another ultimate delicacy, Fois Gras! CH doesn't really know how to describe the taste of the Fois Gras, CH only can tell that the Fois Gras in Ozeki really heavy in "Fois Gras" taste. It was soft and tender. CH loves playing the Fois Gras around on CH's tongue. 100pts!
Tai Chazuke @ RM22- Rice topped with sliced snapper in hot green tea & fish stock soup. The soup taste very plain but rejuvenating. The soup become much more tasteful after CH mixed it with wasabi. 95 pts!

早餐@榴莲坡@太平
2nd August 2008....
Yeah Yeah,今天一大早振鸿就要做他在太平最喜欢的活动之一-吃早餐。
去吃早餐前,振鸿都会先到太平巴刹买一些些炸萝卜糕,“脚皮”(本地甜煎饼),油炸鬼及各种娘惹(Nyonya)糕。
各式各样的娘惹糕,都很好吃。够香的同时不会甜。充分的发挥了各种糕应有的香。90分!
到太平,早餐不是“阿兰姐鸡丝面”,就是榴莲坡的咖喱掺叻沙。振鸿选了咖喱掺叻沙,因为振鸿觉得一定要让大家试一试太平的咖喱掺叻沙。
咖喱掺叻沙-够咖喱够酸酸的叻沙味。里头还有叻沙该有得泗蚌(“siham”/kerang),小虾,红葱,及黄瓜丝。一大口把全部料咬下去,参杂着咖喱叻沙汤,这是太平才找得到的味道。100分! @ RM 2.20
必式之二 - 芋头糕猪肠粉。吃过才知芋头掺糕猪肠粉是那么的爽口。90分! @RM1.80

福满楼海鲜粥@Larut Matang, Taiping
1st August 2008...
回到婆婆休息刷洗之后,夜色已慢慢降临。是时候吃晚餐了。最喜欢再玩了一整天后,回到家里休息过澡后,大伙儿一起出去觅食的感觉。而且我们现在要去吃海鲜!
太平大多海鲜餐馆坐落在Larut Matang一带。心血来潮call一call ah Guan,心想他要去新加坡工作了,应该会回来他老家太平吧。怎知他真的还在太平。所以身为地头蛇的他就把我们带到这“福满楼海鲜粥”。
海鲜粥上桌!主要材料是鲳鱼及西刀鱼丸。汤汁不会非常的甜,它就是那种清清淡淡的好吃。90分!
下一个招牌菜,生滚八爪鱼,淋上泰式酸辣酱。滚到刚刚熟的八爪鱼很有弹性,很鲜,很爽口。但这道菜不能放久,久了过后会出水。90分!
甘香炒螺肉。螺肉很Q。80分。
宫保炒濑尿虾。80分。
另一道拿手好菜-螃蟹炒米粉。螃蟹的精华完完全全的渗入米粉。一口一口爵米粉就可感受到蟹香。米粉中还参杂着蟹黄,直接拿来吃,爽个不得了!95分!
才吃了RM 110。一个人少过二十块钱。在KL吃肯定过三十。超值!

Cendol @ Taiping
1st August 2008...
一到太平,大伙儿提议去吃Cendol。Cendol档到了这个时候应该已经关了。
顺路经过一下,还真的有开。
Once reached Taiping, the big gang suggested to go to have some cendol. Usually the Cendol stall will be already closed at this time.
CH try to pass by the Cendol stall as he was heading to his house, and surprisingly, the cendol stall is open!

太平Cendol的特色是味道不会太重,都调试到刚刚好。有一点咸味,一点点烧焦味,应该是老板特地调的。振鸿一向来都爱吃Cendol Biasa,没加其他料,这样才可以吃到原汁原味。95分!
One of the chacracter of Cendol in Taiping are they won't be over-flavoured, the mixture will be just nice. A little bit of salty, plus a little bit smell of scorching. CH usually will have the Cendol Biasa, which excluding any additional topping, as this practice allows CH to taste the original flavour of the cendol.

Ansari's Famous Cendol - 第二天午餐后去吃这霹雳闻名的Cendol。据说这档弄Cendol的技巧已传到第三代了。
CH and gang went for this Perak-famous Cendol.The current Cendol Making skill is the inheritence of 3-generation.
一口吃下去,不得了。好吃!椰糖及椰浆很香,但又不会太重,刚刚好。这档的烧焦味比Bismillah还重。但振鸿觉得这样才好吃。香叶丝(Cendol)也很软香又滑。100分!
The coconut sugar and coconut milk both are very fragrant, just nice also. The smell of scorching of this stall is heavier than Bismillah. CH feels the smell of scorching makes a better cendol.
没吃过太平的Cendol,谁人敢说巴生/马六甲的Cendol才是最棒的?
振鸿只是建议大家吃过了太平的Cendol再下定论。
Who dares to tell the best Cendol is in Klang/Melacca without trying the one in Taiping?
CH suggest everybody only make the decision after trying the one in Taiping.

Caves @ Ipoh
Visiting the caves is the most common activity for tourist in Ipoh. As Ipoh was surrounded by various caves, most of the caves has been renovated and been converted into Buddhist and Hindu Temple.
Some of the caves recommend by CH which worth visiting are: Perak Cave-霹雳洞, Kek Lok Dong(Cave)-极乐洞,Sam Bao Cave-三宝洞. Besides this, the Gua Tempurung at Gopeng which is just 15 minutes away from Ipoh worth visiting also.
