Today is CH third night in Kay Bee. CH went to The Eye restaurant recommended by his big fat eater uncle.
The Eye Restaurant selling chinese and thaifood. The food there is cheap and nice.
The first dish is the Fried Oyster. The fried oyster is totally different with the western Malaysia one. The western Malaysia produce sticky and wet type of fried oyster, whereas east Malaysia like Kelantan produce dry, crunchy type of fried oyster. The dry fried oyster to be dip with the thai sweet spicy chilli sauce. Anyway, CH loves both type of fried oyster.
Second is the stir fried bitter grout and cucumber. This dish looked simple, but delicious!
Third is the Keng-som style steamed fish. The fish is steamed with special recipe of thai. One of the ingredient is the "heart" of the coconut and kang-kung. The soup is full with thai flavor. CH don't know how to best describe it, unless you come to taste it yourself.
Forth is the seafood "yam". Which "yam" mean mix in english. This "yam" is made of seafood, glass noodle, lime, vinegar, chilli, celery, onion and lettuce. This spicy sour stuff is the best appetiser which will make your mouth watering.
The total bill for above food is RM48.00 with a big bottle of soy milk. It is cheap!
P/S To CH's friends: When you all coming to visit Kelantan? CH will bring you around to taste the delicious food around Kelantan.
